Me and my father stopped at this IHOP on the way out of Saint Augustine and had a great meal. The food was up to standards with every other IHOP on the planet, so other reviews with this particular establishment that claim that the food is greasy and disgusting are simply not true (they know what an IHOP is like, why'd they stop... Just saying). As for service, our waitress was extremely nice and fast to carry out our requests (I wish I could recall her name). Disregard the other negative reviews, we had a wonderful experience.

This location is OK. It is inside the hotel so you tend to enter from the hotel lobby (days inn). This location needs an update in appearance. The food is what you expect from I-hop.

Order was incorrect, was told I had to pay for what they brought me. Lol. Avoid. The food was not fully cookef, and the staf was tude. Going so far as to be within earshot and laughing about how we didnt want to pay for what we were given.

I ordered fish and chips, I substituted the chips for steamed broccoli. It was a treat for my taste buds. Not a crowded place. Waitress was very pleasant.

All I have to say is you get what you pay for. Eating greasy food with dirty utensils. Yum!

This IHOP is located in historical St. Augustine. I love IHOP's light menu and egg white option for omelets. The food is always good whenever I go to an IHOP. This makes IHOP my number one breakfast place. The IHOP in St. Augustine is not a pristine place, yet I like it. It has a certain charm about it. I only order egg white omelets when I eat breakfast at restaurants. I got the spinach, tomato, and Swiss cheese omelet with sausage (additional ingredient for 59 cents). My husband loved my sausage so much that he kept taking it off my omelet. I think he liked it more than his blueberry pancakes. Our waitress seemed to be in a bad mood, yet she was efficient and got our food and drinks to us fast. Her mood didn't bother me. She served us very well. A group next to us slipped us a coupon. A nice gesture. The only cons were the cracked glass of water and the screaming baby, who was quieted down after a few minutes. The waitress got the cracked glass out of the way and got us another glass when I recognized it. Screaming babies are annoying to me. I can say this because I was a screaming baby at one time. Luckily, my mother didn't take me to restaurants. She was frugal and smart enough to keep me and and feed me at home or a private place away from the general public.

We stopped in on the way to the outlet midday on a weekday (read: not busy), we waited 20 minutes to get acknowledged by the waitress. Another 15 mins to get our drinks and have our order taken. We then waited 30 minutes to get our food. The waitress had part of our food touching her arms when she carried out our plates. When we were done eating and she gave us the check, she literally hovered over me starring at me while I filled in the tip. That was the final straw, this is the only time in my life which I have tipped $0.00. I would never go to this dive again.

Only one waitress on duty who had a broken foot. Place was very busy... she honestly should not have been working! I felt bad for the poor girl. It took forever to get to us and then our food sat at the window (it was not her fault! it was whoever made the poor girl work all by her self!)

Im hoping this is the IHOP off of 16 and 95 in the hotel, if not oops sorry. I guess I should throw out a warning now, there is a waitress at this IHOP that I am unfortunately related to (by marriage) and I do not get along with her at all, but I am writing this review as if I never met her in my life and the quality of the food. Since I have "beef" with said waitress, I will not comment on the service since it wouldn't be a fair assessment. I couldn't have picked a more busy weekend to go to this IHOP. My husband and I did not have to wait to be seated and the food came out fairly quick. I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes with no whip cream. The food was very good. I haven't had a good IHOP breakfast in a while and this hit the spot. The pancakes had a good amount of cheesecake chunks in it and the strawberry wasn't overpowering. I also got more than just 2 whole strawberries on my meal and the food didn't sit in the window too long to where the syrup from the strawberries didn't soak the pancakes to where they were soggy. My husband got the pecan pancakes with bacon, eggs (real eggs not the batter stuff), and hash browns. The only thing he didn't like were the hash browns, they were actually "hash tans" so he didn't eat them. I tasted his pancakes and they were very good. Overall, the food was pretty good, nice and hot. Hopefully you'll be able to go when they don't have a scheduling problem and the waitresses there aren't bogged down (they have this problem sometimes).

After living without IHOP for 3 years up in PA we were super excited to eat here! We had pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, crepes, and french toast (not each but you get the gist of it). The food was GREAT! The service was stellar! We went two mornings in a row and no complaints on either visit.

OMG, do not visit this IHOP location...it has been there a long time on US 1 and I have eaten there years ago with no trouble but now will never go back again! I was just there last week, for or one thing it smells gross, and the bathrooms still have some fixtures from the 1970's...and when we walked in there was a dirty guy that looked homeless but I wanted pancakes so we stayed...anyway the waitress had a loud annoying voice and the kitchen had no door on it so we could hear her yelling at the staff while we sat there-and the food was well below par...my friend had chicken fried steak and the gravy was so bad we had to scrape it off and my bacon was like rubber tires- but the pancakes were good! Also a kooky old lady came over and gave us a printout coupon for 15% off- lol

I am "the friend" in RENDA H"s review of ihop....the one who got the chicken fried steak doormat and the blood sausage gravy. if you're going here for food you might be surprised at the pancakes and the creamers; they were both good. the rest of the drek that our waitress coughed all over really can't be called food, so we'll skip that and talk about the absorbing atmosphere of the place. i give it 5 stars for mood: you feel like you were born in a shopping cart when you stay in IHOP for any length of time; everyone sketchy, and yet endearing at the same time. a pleasant dysfunctional-homey-type atmosphere, not too unnerving if properly intoxicated. the waitresses were definitely stressed to the max, but they managed to get our food out on time (don't know whether to laugh or cry about that one), refilled everything a million times, and got us everything we wanted (except good food haha....), so i can't fault our waitress for anything, even though her voice could drive you out of your mind, and she was ill, and crabby like a gym teacher and kept berating the cooks and incidental kitchen help for wanting to leave early. i love the back entrance passing the diaper drawers bathrooms, which are cool old and funky, and down the tunnel of bizarros, either having just finished early bird specials, or are waitng for one and are too decrepit to stand. i love finally surveying the restaurant, and getting scared by all the characters. like renda h. said, a goofy old lady gave us a coupon, and made me check out her new convertible and take a pic. like going to a scary grandma's house for dinner! the chicken fingers were pretty good also, so i believe i can recommend this IHOP from the bottom of my heart!
